Careers

Help build Canada's gateway to space.

Maritime Launch is building Canada's first commercial spaceport, and the team that will operate it. We're hiring the engineers, operators, and specialists who want their work to matter.

Working here

How we work.

The work is complex, the stakes are real, and no one does it alone. We rely on experienced people, strong partnerships, and a shared commitment to doing things right. A few principles guide us.

Safety and responsibility

Everything starts with safety. We approach launch operations with discipline, preparation, and respect for the responsibility that comes with the work.

Proven, not promised

We fly vehicles with demonstrated heritage, and we hold our own work to the same standard. We believe credibility is earned through action.

Assured access to space

Launch capability depends on trust. Our goal is to create infrastructure and operations that customers, partners, regulators, and communities can rely on.

Continuous improvement

Every mission, every exercise, and every milestone strengthens the capabilities, relationships, and knowledge that support what comes next.

Rooted in community

We build alongside the people who live closest to the site through local hiring, community partnerships, transparency, and long-term engagement.

Work of national consequence

Canada's access to space matters. We are helping establish sovereign launch capability that supports economic growth, security, science, and our role among allies.

The team

From the people building it.

What surprised me most was how connected the project is to the people around it. We work closely with local communities, Mi'kmaw partners, governments, suppliers, and businesses. Building a spaceport takes technical expertise, but it also takes trust, relationships, and a lot of collaboration.

Opportunities like this come along once in a career. We are building critical national infrastructure that will strengthen Canada’s sovereign access to space, support our allies, and enable generations of future space missions.

Founder, CEO & Director
The opportunity to help build Canada's first dual-use spaceport doesn't come around often. What drew me here was the chance to work on something genuinely first-of-its-kind, where the decisions we make today will shape Canadian launch capability for decades to come.

Canso, Nova Scotia

Room to build a life.

Canso sits on Nova Scotia’s eastern shore, a working harbour town wrapped in open coastline and some of the most striking Atlantic scenery in the country. Here, you’ll find welcoming neighbours, a close knit community, and a lifestyle connected to the ocean and the outdoors. You can be on the water before work and on a trail after it, with a commute measured in minutes. When you want more, Halifax and its airport are an easy drive. It’s a rare combination: a strong sense of community and work that matters.
